Honoring Dawie Albertyn, a visionary farmer. From 1912, his family owned Koude Rivier, expanding with Stompjeskloof. They introduced SA Meat Merino sheep, improved infrastructure, and grew crops like onions and sweet potatoes. Dawie’s legacy includes nurturing livestock, adding minerals to water, and winning awards for wheat farming. Though Koude Rivier was sold, his spirit lives on at Nacht Wacht
