𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 – 𝗔 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀

As the rain finally soaked into our beloved landscape, we’ve embraced the perfect moment to tidy up – and yes, that means burning heaps of branches and garden trimmings! The estate is slowly transforming with the changing season, and there’s a special kind of calm that settles in after a good rain.

In the stables, we’re thrilled to be working with two beautiful Percheron mares. Lizel Maritz has entrusted us with their training, and we’re truly enjoying every moment of the process. There’s something incredibly rewarding about connecting with these gentle giants and helping them grow.

This past Easter weekend was a special one – filled with laughter, quality time, and shared moments with family, friends, and our wonderful guests. We’re incredibly thankful that everyone made it back home safely and that the Easter spirit brought warmth to all who visited.

Our guesthouses continue to welcome visitors – last weekend, two of our homes were filled with happy guests and their dogs. There’s nothing quite like the joy of seeing four-legged friends explore the wide open spaces of Doornbosch. It’s a reminder of how perfect our estate is for both people and their furry companions!
